Plant Operations Worker

Position operates and maintains boilers, performs periodic inspection of mechanical rooms throughout hospital to ensure proper operation of heat, air conditioning, ventilation and medical support equipment. Performs urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required. Maintains the aesthetics of the buildings by sanding and painting. May help with the maintenance of hospital grounds by mowing and weed-eating.
Position requires basic computer knowledge, knowledge of boiler operation preferred, cleaning and maintenance and safety procedures; heat, ventilation and air-conditioning operation experience preferred. Previous experience in boiler operations preferred. OJT available for eager to learn candidates
Position requires candidates to demonstrate they are a motivated individual who can multi-task with good time management and organization skills. Excellent attention to detail. Qualified candidates are proven team players; quality focused and delivers a high level of customer service. Must exemplify the WNH "Standards of Performance".
